Notes
- It should be noted that Demolitionist does NOT get any bonuses towards M16's ballistic damage, however Commando's skills affect both - ballistic and explosive parts of the weapon.
- Amount of the recoil depends on the player's stance and movement. Crouching and aiming down the sights gives the lowest possible amount of the recoil.
- Minimum travel distance for projectile to explode = 3.87m.
- Projectile travel speed = 40m/s.
- Direct hit with the grenade does two types of the damage - ballistic (capable of damaging specific body parts, essentially it is a big slow bullet), then explosive (only does damage to body). Ballistic damage applied at all ranges, whether grenade exploded or not.
- Projectile will collide with either - ZED's hitzone or a collision cylinder.
- Projectile affected by gravity.
Strategy
While this weapon has smaller explosion radius than M79 (500 vs 850), its falloff is actually better which makes both weapon to have about the same Clot-kill-radius (an area where explosion does 100+ damage).
Despite the fact that this weapon belongs to Demolitionist its bullet damage stays unaffected by any of its skills and passive bonuses.
Gains all the perk bonuses from Commando thanks to multi-perk weapon system.
Trivia
- Bullets can deal up to 9900 damage with full ammo (300) capacity as off-perk weapon.
- Despite the common misconception M203 grenade does ballistic damage at any range, regardless if it exploded or dud.

Killing Floor 2 takes what was great about the first game and expands upon it in every way possible. This is what a good sequel should do! Killing Floor 2 is much more refined than the first game and the new additions make it the ultimate Killing Floor game. It is so good that you would have a hard time going back to the first game after playing this.

Perk Up!
Killing Floor 2 brings back the perks from the first game. These are basically the classes that you get to play as. Killing Floor 2 has ten different ones for you to choose from these range from a field medic who is fast and all about healing the team to a demolitions expert that can use C4 to blow stuff up. I feel that there is a lot of diversity to the classes, but it can take a while to get there.You see you cannot actually unlock your special skills for a perk until you are level 5. This can take you a few hours so until then the perks do kind of feel a little samey, but that is not meant as a major criticism of the game.

Killing Floor 2 is still all about surviving wave after wave of zombie (ZED) attack. There is a great variety of zombies such as ones that shoot yucky stuff at you to these super creepy witch looking ones. You will eventually figure out what is the best way to take out a certain kind of enemy. The problem you have is the sheer number of them that come at you at once. Killing Floor 2 is awesome at always making you feel like the odds are stacked against you and at the end of a wave, your controller will be soaked in sweat!
As you play the game you earn money and it is up to you how you use this money. I liked to use basic stuff for as long as possible so I could save up my money and get the best items possible. The earlier levels are hard, but manageable as long as you work as a team, even when using basic stuff.
Work Together
Like the first Killing Floor, Killing Floor 2 greatly encourages teamwork. When a boss appears (there are only two bosses!) you have to work together or else they will pick you off one at a time. Healing each other and sharing items as well as making use of your special perks once you have them all make the game so much more fun and also rewarding when your teamwork pays off.
Human vs Zombie!
One new mode that is added to Killing Floor 2 is Versus Survival. In this mode, one team plays as the humans and the other plays as the zombies (ZED's) and it is a fun mode, but it could have used a little more effort. In theory, playing as a ZED should be awesome and if you get one of the bigger more powerful ones it is. However, if you play as one of the smaller, weaker and dare I say lamer ZED's it is not as much fun.While I did not have as much fun with Versus Survival as I did the main game mode. I do think that it serves as a nice distraction and if you can get a large number of people you know playing together then it can be even more fun.
Blood Looks Really Red!
One other area that Killing Floor 2 improves over the first game is the presentation. I am not saying that Killing Floor 2 is going to win any awards for the way it looks. Yet the different ZED designs and the levels do have a much higher quality look to them this time around. As a result, the gore and violence are even more over the top than it was before. The soundtrack that Killing Floor 2 has could not be any more perfect for this game. I am a huge metal head so having a rocking soundtrack while I am blasting away hordes of ZED's just made me even more pumped up and ready for action.
Without a doubt Killing Floor 2 is a better game than the first. It offers the same kind of experience, but it does everything much bigger and better. This is a really fun game to play, but it can take a while to get to level 5 and that is when the game really starts to open up. While I enjoy Killing Floor 1. If you are new to the series, I would recommend skipping that and going straight to Killing Floor 2.
